A great man indeed, but sadly the institution he and the Tengku created is but a shadow of itself. Loosing its GMC status in 1989, the standard of both its undergraduate and postgraduates is sometimes shocking with some of its lecturers struggling to even string a proper sentence in English !
It appears that private medical schools, especially the partner medical school programs of IMU, Monash and perhaps Newcastle out in JB have now taken the medical lead.
Danaraj, like many other things in Malaysia, are but a distant memory of how promising this country used to be.
