Thus endeth the RSS experiment

A while earlier I experimented with adding RSS feeds of a couple of interesting blogs into WordPress in this blog – it didn’t work out too well as it was dependent on the setting of the RSS feed. If the feed displayed the whole article, then the entire content was imported. This wasn’t a good thing as the intention is to share the link and not the whole article, and it would also mean it would increase the database size on this site exponentially.
I have since disabled it, deleted all the posts via RSS and instead for now will share the links on our Facebook page . I later on hope to import the links via Twitter into this site as a means to share interesting blog posts.
