The Kuala Lumpur Hospital or commonly known as HKL (Hospital Kuala Lumpur) has 49 different departments and units. These include the administration & finance department, the pharmaceutical department, training and research, 27 clinical departments and 12 clinical support services.
Hospital Kuala Lumpur is now the largest hospital under the Ministry of health of Malaysia and is considered to be one of the biggest in Asia. It is a government tertiary referral hospital, located on 150 acres of prime land with 83 wards and 2302 beds.

Hospital Labuan adalah sebuah hospital yang menggunakan konsep nukleus. Ianya mula dibina pada 10 Oktober 1991 dan siap pembinaannya pada 29hb Januari 1995 di mana penyelenggaraan bangunan dan peralatannya masih dibawah tanggungjawab Syarikat Pembinaan YTL Sdn. Bhd sehingga 08 Mac 1997.Hospital ini terletak di kawasan seluas kira-kira 12.047 hektar dengan keluasan bangunan 31,969 meter persegi . Mula beroperasi pada 10 Jun 1995 dan telah dirasmikan oleh Mantan Perdana Menteri Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad pada 29 Ogos 1996 dengan mempunyai kapasiti 109 katil. Hospital Labuan ini mempunyai kemudahan bagi perkhidmatan pakar yang dijangka dapat memberikan keselesaan perkhidmatan rawatan perubatan kepada kira-kira lebih 86,908 (statistik 2011) orang penduduk Labuan.
Hospital Labuan merupakan hospital dengan pakar iaitu Pakar Perubatan, Pakar Bedah Am, Pakar Bius, Pakar Ortopedik dan Pakar Obstetrik dan Gynaecologi (O&G). Sekarang hospital ini mempunyai seramai lebih 383 orang kakitangan bertugas di sini di mana 22 orang daripadanya adalah Pegawai Perubatan dengan 5 orang Pakar Perubatan. Walau bagaimanapun, bilangan kakitangan ini akan ditambah dari masa kesemasa mengikut keperluaan dan kesesuaiannya.

Putrajaya Hospital is a 341 bedded Hospital located in the government administrative area of Putrajaya. The Hospital provides basically a secondary level care. Putrajaya Hospital in keeping with its location within the Multimedia Super Corridor is being managed and run based on the Total Hospital Information System (T.H.I.S.).
UKM Medical Centre (Malay: Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) (formerly known as Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) is one of the four university hospitals in Malaysia. It is located in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur and is administered by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
The hospital has a special ward for cancer treatment sponsored by MAKNA and Maybank.
The 1,040-bed capacity teaching hospital was completed in 1997

UNIVERSITI MALAYA (the University of Malaya), is situated amidst a lush campus in the south-west corner of Kuala Lumpur, the dynamic and bustling capital city of Malaysia.
The University of Malaya was initially set up in Singapore in 1949 as an amalgamation of the two premier institutions of higher education in colonial Malaya and Singapore, Raffles College and King Edward VII College of Medicine to serve the needs of the colony. Following independence of Malaya in 1957, two autonomous divisions of the university, one in Singapore and one in Kuala Lumpur, were established in 1959. The government of Malaya expressed a desire to change the status of the Kuala Lumpur division to a national University and following appropriate legislation, the University of Malaya was established in 1962. The Singapore Division was renamed the University of Singapore.
In 1961, the Board of Education, University Malaya had proposed that a medical institution be established to cater to the shortages of medical doctors in Malaya at that time.The first Faculty of Medicine in Malaysia was established in the University of Malaya in 1963. Instruction started in 1964 with the first batch of students.
On 5th August 1968, the spanking new University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) was officially opened by His Majesty the Yang Dipertuan Agung, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Dipertuan Agung Tuanku Ismail Nasarudin Shah Ibni Alharmahum Sultan Zainal Abidin.
The University motto, “Ilmu Punca Kemajuan” (Knowledge is the Key to Success) and the UMMC and Faculty of Medicine continues to strive to the best of ability to live up to this ideal. University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) is one of the organisations in the Ministry of Higher Education. Main objectives of UMMC are health services, learning and research.
