Background
We started on 8 May 1952 as a private dispensary at No. 329, Batu Road, and was named Tan Dispensary. In October 1972, we shifted to No. 316, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur for further expansion of our services. The name of the dispensary was changed from Tan Dispensary to Kelinik Sentosa Nursing Home in October 1972 and subsequently to Sentosa Medical Centre in October 1979. In order to accommodate overwhelming response for medical care, we have expanded our services and shifted to this present 200 bedded 8 storey modern hospital with basement parking, located at No. 36, Jalan Chemur, Kompleks Damai, 50400 Kuala Lumpur on 1 January 1993.
