Surya College Diploma in Nursing
Background
The Diploma in Nursing programme has been approved by MQA and MOHE and accepted by the Nursing Board Malaysia.
This programme is designed to produce State Registered Nurses (SRN) who are knowledgeable and skilful, with the soft skills that are required of a safe and competent nurse. The course combines lecture-led theoretical learning in the classrooms combined with practical training of skills in well-equipped simulation wards and skill laboratory by qualified and experienced lecturers. Clinical experience is obtained in placements in the government and private hospitals and clinics. Close constant vigilance of hand-on training is guaranteed to ensure that students graduate with not only knowledge and skills but who render safe and effective care to the community.
