The law requires doctors to collect at least 20 CPD points in order to renew the APC (Annual Practicing Certificate). If you have been living under a coconut shell and were not aware of this, FYI this law has been enforced since July 2018.
When you apply in 2019 for the 2020 APC, you will need at least 20 CPD points collected between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019.
There are only 6 weeks left before 30 June 2019 !
If you have not got 20 points, you had better start scrambling for points!!
How to get your 20 points?
You could of course try for some conference to get the remaining points. Check out the upcoming conferences in the MMA Events app (we mentioned this already in the post A gentle reminder to GPs on compulsory CPD and your APC) but if you haven’t heard of the MMA App at this stage you have indeed been living under a coconut shell.
The fastest way of course is to get online CPD ponts.
In our Bulletin Board, we list 6 ways to get Online CPD from local Online CPD providers. This Bulletin Board is accessible for free by members of DOBBS.
Don’t live under a coconut shell. Please stay informed and up to date by participating in DOBBS, Malaysia’s pioneer and largest online community of doctors with over 16,000 now in our engaging platforms which includes web boards, social media and a private Telegram Supergroup.
